Definition of the stretch ceiling
A Barrisol® stretch ceiling is a non flammable sheet B S1-d0, B S2-d0 or B S3-d0 (depending on the finish) made of vinyl which is stretched under the effect of heat on the periphery of the walls thanks to a specific fixing system (patented).
Thanks to the wide range of Barrisol® rails used for the fixing, all types of realizations are possible, including 3D and organic forms.
All Barrisol® products are classified A+ (VOC). Barrisol® products contribute to the respect of the environment. They can contain up to 80% of recycled materials, they are reusable and are 100% recyclable.

Installation of the stretch ceiling
The stretched ceiling is superimposed on the classic ceiling, the fabric can be fixed at any height under the ceiling; the plenum (distance between the ceiling and the false ceiling) must be at least 2.5 cm and a maximum without limit.
Its installation principle is very simple: it consists of hot stretching a fabric from wall to wall, which is then locked into profiled rails that are themselves fixed to the walls.
The profiles used for the Barrisol® stretch ceiling can be made of aluminum or PVC. Barrisol® proposes three types of rails: tradition, star and mini-star. The choice of one of them depends on the interior decoration of the room: the fixing strips can be visible or invisible.
Types of stretch ceilings
Originally, stretch ceilings were only available in white matte, but the popularity of this process has allowed the range of ceilings to evolve to offer consumers a much wider choice.
This is why Barrisol® offers today more than 30 different stretch ceiling systems and variations (wall, acoustic, luminous, printed, 3d shape...), 230 colors and 15 finishes (matte, satin, lacquered, metal, suede, translucent, ...).
